Manscaping For The Holidays
Looking Good This Holiday Season
Well, the partying season is upon us. In addition to spending big bucks on all the presents for everyone we know, we also tend to spend a little on ourselves as well - and if not we should. It is important to take extra good care of ourselves during this stressful and hectic season. We tend to hear that and concentrate mostly on trying to keep ourselves fit and healthy, but all aspects of our selves need attention.
Our inner self and outer self need special attention. It is crucial to remain calm and clear this season and keep your soul in tact. This is no easy task. One of the easiest and healthiest ways is through aromatherapy. I know, I know you think that is a bunch of hoohaa. However, studies show that simple things as just having a vanilla or lavender scented candles or essential oil in your office helps to maintain calmer sense of being. Many hospitals spray vanilla in operating rooms to keep patients calm and at ease. You may not only need to remain calm, but need some clarity and energy. Aromatherapy is the way. When there is such a divine scent around you, you cannot help but take deeper longer breaths. These breaths are the best way for your body, mind a soul to remain centered.aroma-oil-essentials.com - High quality aromatherapy at great prices!
We also attend a lot of paties this time of year. For many, this is the most stressful part of the holiday season. We want to look and feel our best for our friends and family. The most important rule: if you look good - you will feel good.
Here are a few tips:
- First check your closet for an outfit or two that you would consider wearing at a party. TRY IT ON! It may have been a while since you have worn it, let's make sure it still fit well. There may be items in your wardrobe that can be used with something new to create a whole new outfit. Mixing and matching is great. Sometimes it is worth investing a little money in one really well fitting piece, (i.e. new black slacks, velvet skirt, etc) that can be worn many times with different tops and accessories, to many different affairs.
- Don't wear something too big or too small. There are those that think it is best to wear clothes that may be a little big as to have room for all the holiday eating. On the other hand, many like to wear something a bit too small so you don't over-eat. Well, let's get real. We want to look our best and wearing clothes that are too big or too small will just look bad. Always try and wear well fitting clothes. This way you can indulge a bit, without over doing it.
- Shoes - these are crucial to completing your ensemble. Make sure they're comfortable, but no tennis shoes please. If they are new, you must break them in. Wear them around the house as much as possible. If you already own them, absolutely make sure they are clean and polished. If they need polishing and you have the time you can have them done professionally. However, I prefer the shoe polish wipes you can get at drugstores and many markets.
- If it is time or close to being time for a hair cut -GET IT. This is a no brainer. Your hair is one the easiest things to control. And we all know that if we are uncomfortable about the way it look, it shows - just take care of it soon. Don't wait until the last minute.
- Last, but not least. You may have done everything above, but if your face and hands are a mess, much of the look will be lost. For men, make sure you have properly manscaped, shaved and treated your skin properly. The EZ-Hair Removal system is great for all your manscpaing needs, and specific facial treatments help as well in maintaining that polished look: see men's skin care.
All in all, have a great holiday season. Just take good care of all of you and have some fun.
